If these things continue to happen, the NBA should have lockouts more often!  :-)

Also, making a resurgence is FOOTBALL.

Azkals are going to try and get past the Kuwaitis today.  Let's pray they do!!

Land Training

Thank you, all sponsors.
Napapansin ko lang, puro kain yata ang ginagawa ko sa dragonboat na ito (see previous post)?
Mike M's first plate.  Take note, late siya at hindi nag-jogging.
Well, not really.  Regular practices at Manila Bay open with stretches, warm-ups and the actual paddling.  Afterward, its cool down, walk home, take bath, then go for a nap.  No eating.

Today was a bit special as we had land training at Valle Verde 5 (I know, sosyal di ba?).

Si Trix, naga-anticipate na ng next move...
Lest I reveal too much of our special training regimen (naks!), we ran for a few minutes, stretched, and paddled.
Thank you Neil for reminding me how far I am from my weight loss goals...

Afterward, we exercised our jaw muscles and masticated (look it up).  It was a great pot luck morning.
The Bagets table.  Take note, this is AL's table.
Now, I don't feel the need for lunch as I am still full from all that mastication.

Great spread.
Thank you sisters Cruz for the venue and a great morning.  Mauulit ito.

XOXO,

Padd-ting

DLSU is celebrating 100 years in PH.
I missed today's La Salle Greentennial Run.  Tsk.  I just found out it was today, via those Facebook pictures.

But at least I got much needed exercise by way of Manila Bay's cold and dirty waters.  It was great practice today with the Manila Dragons.  Plus, it was so nice seeing everyone again.
Bagay (parehong nakapikit)! Meann flew in from Doha, Qatar to attend Paul and Marlon's party.
OK din itong dragonboat na ito, masarap na masakit.

Mukhang 20-ish.  The cake was made by multi-talented Liza V.
It was Marlon Coduco's birthday today and TC Paul Minano celebrated his this month also.  They had quite a spread prepared for this morning.

Happy Birthday, Paul & Marlon.  Masarap lahat.
Paddling and Eating (PADD-TING), SARAP!
Papunta na sa pagkain.
Now, I'm going back to some sleeping.

BTW, here's the training schedule for MD.  Everyone's welcome to join.
